Google Operating System

Looks like Google is going to go head to head with Microsoft and develop a Google Operating System based off of Chrome. The article says it could be release in mid 2010 and will be open source. This could really change things for Microsoft. Google Docs, along with Open Office have taken a good size bite out of Microsoft Office and now this. Curious to see how this plays out.

While I’ve really liked the products Google has created, I worry that they are getting just a little too powerful. Let’s hope they stick to the informal company motto “Don’t Be Evil“. Guess we will have to wait and see.
