Hi. Darren Pearson here from DNP Consulting. Please feel free to leave feedback on any of my blog postings. I especially encourage feedback from Disqus users.
Found a neat Open Source application called EyeOS. Basically, it creates a Desktop inside of your browser. This allows you to access files you’ve uploaded to EyeOS from any browser. Also has some basic applications to create Spreadsheets, Word Documents, etc plus they say they have good mobile support. Gonna have to play around with this. Any feedback from people who have used EyeOS is appreciated.
I found myself using TinyURL a lot recently. Just came across a neat little add-on to Firefox that makes the process of creating a TinyURL that much easier. Gotta love those free add-ons to Firefox.
Just got back from Fort Myers for Spring Break. Really needed to get away for a few days. Saw a Twins Game, swam in the ocean, spent some quality time with my wife & son and got some sun. Now it’s back to work.
Kind of got the mobile edition of Darren’s Corner working but I need to work on the formatting for devices. Got the code to import my RSS feed from FeedForAll. I’m mainly looking at it from an iTouch so an feedback on how it looks from blackberries or other devices is appreciated.
Found a post by a guy named Hao Chen describing how to import content from tumblr to WordPress. All of my old Tumblr entries should be in the category “Old Tumblr Blog”. The really neat part is all of that content can now be searched since it’s in WordPress.
Just updated the Tutorials section. It still points to the old tutorials from dnpconsulting so I may change the formatting later but there are some good resources on HTML, Javascript, PHP, Second Life, Digital Video plus a few other things as well.
Found a great collection of Viral Videos at YouShouldHaveSeenThis.com. Some of these I forgot about. If you need a good chuckle, make sure to browse this list of 99 videos. Peanut Butter Jelly Time still is one of my favorites. Anyone have any other favorites from this list?
Just added the Disqus plugin. Anyone with a Disqus account can now leave comments. Anonymous comments are allowed as well. Gotta look into integrating Facebook Connect next.
