Looks like Bruce Campbell is coming to the Twin Cities on Dec 5th to promote his new movie: My Name Is Bruce. I just might have to go to this. (Army of Darkness is one of my favorites.) Looks like he’ll be at the Lagoon Theater.

Free Web Hosting
I’ve tried free web hosting services before and had limited success but had a student that uses freehostia.com and has said she has had good luck with it. 250MB storage plus PHP and MySQL support. I’ll have to check this out sometime.

Normally, I use my blog to post one of three different topics: interesting web/technology news, things that make me laugh and photos of my family. Today, I’ve decided to post about something which I think is very important to the future of the United States.
I’ll start off by saying I was very skeptical at first. T. Boone Pickens has made a lot of money in the oil industry and is now proposing a national energy plan. The phrase “Big Oil” immediately flashed through my mind and I was a bit suspicious. I looked him up on YouTube and found his video where he describes his overall plan in about four minutes. I have to say it makes sense to me and seems like something that can realistically be accomplished in 10 years. My interest in this plan and my confidence that it could be implemented increased after watching a recent interview with him.
There has been a lot of talk during the election campaign about US energy policy and how it affects our relationship with other countries. The Pickens Plan is definately worth looking into and exploring. Please check out his four minute whiteboard presentation either on YouTube or on his own websites, PickensPlan.com. I’d really like to hear what other people have to say about this and welcome thoughtful feedback (no flame wars please) to this posting.
Thanks.

Wow – MTV Videos
Does anyone remember when MTV played videos instead of running “The Real World” 24 hours a day? Some of my favorites are Into The Great Wide Open, November Rain, and Just A Gigolo.
